Photo sessions may take place in a setting of your choice. We can meet at your home, the beach, a park, downtown or any other location near you. I am always open to new ideas. Your home is great for little ones who do better in their own environment. A typical session will last anywhere from 30 minutes to two hours. Newborn sessions can take longer with breaks for feeding and changing. You and your child will not be rushed. A pre-session phone consultation if needed will be scheduled to discuss any concerns you may have.
I offer online proofing for the convenience of selecting portraits in the comfort of your own home with in a week or two of your session. The online proofing also allows family and friends to view your portraits and place orders of their own. Galleries will remain up for 15 days. If you would like additional time a $25.00 reactivation fee is required.
For web sized digital files with a watermark for emails, myspace, webpages, facebook etc. These are free (for now) once you have completed a print order. Limited to 5 files per session and only those that you have purchased prints. Please ask for these and do not copy/steal them of my website, blog or any other photo gallery I have them to share.
For clothing try to avoid character T's, logos, and sayings to keep the focus on your little ones.
Babies look best in their birthday suit or diaper. Try to avoid tight fitted clothing as they leave marks on baby's skin which will show in the photograph. Simple is better. Children look great in bright colors and clothing that reflects their personality. Neutral colors or complimentary colors work best for family group sessions. jeans look great on everyone. Bare feet are a favorite of mine and simple dark shoes work well too.
